Choosing flooring and a company to install it is a process.

    Hello! Let's chat for a few minutes to be sure we have a fit between your vision and budget and our products and services.

    in-home consultation

    We'll bring the showroom to you and take accurate measurements while also taking the time to answer any questions you may have.

    Written proposal

    With products selected and measurements done, we'll provide you with a written proposal for your project. Schedule immediately, or think it over. 

  • Image

    Project Management

    The material for your project has to get from Point A to Point B; sometimes with multiple stops in between. We'll keep you posted of its progress and how it may impact your project.

    installation day

    The day you've been waiting for; when it all comes together. Sure, it may be dusty and noisy, but so worth it in the end.

  • Awareness

    Whether it was 5 minutes or 5 months ago, you looked down and thought, “I really should replace this floor.”

    Maybe it was a visit to a friend that recently got new flooring. Maybe it was after binge watching your favorite home improvement program.  Maybe it was when your in-laws invited themselves to stay for a week.

    No matter what caused you to start looking, we're glad you're looking here now.

  • Research

    This is likely why you are visiting this site. You are actively looking for flooring types based on some criteria and/or looking for inspiration so you can make informed decisions. 

    We want to make this as easy for you as possible. Look around to find product and style information, then take the next step and connect with us so we can personalize your experience.

  • Build Your Project

    If you see something you like on our site, add it to your project. We’ll keep a list of styles and colors you liked. This helps you organize your ideas, but also gives us a glimpse into your design goals. Plus, while we take pride in having the largest mobile sample selection, we have even more samples we can bring just for you if you give us some ideas of what you’re looking for.

  • Phone Consultation

    This is an optional, but extremely beneficial step. Before our consultant knocks on your door, you have the opportunity to chat on the phone about your project. You can discuss products, budget, installation questions, etc. We may not be able to answer all of your questions before we visit your home, but you should be able to determine if it will be worth your time to have us come out. This consultation is generally 5-15 minutes long and will be scheduled at your convenience.

  • In-Home Consultation

    If we haven’t gotten to know more about you and your flooring goals over the phone or web, we’ll start there. Then you will be able to see flooring samples in your home so you can coordinate with your décor, wall colors, lighting, etc.
    During this visit, we will professionally and accurately measure your room or rooms and assess other site conditions so that we can properly specify your project and be sure no details are overlooked.

  • PRoposal

    With site information gathered and product selections made, we will prepare project proposals for you to review. If the proposals meet your approval, we will be happy to check product availability and schedule your installation.  

    If, however, you need some time to think about it, we’ll leave you with the proposals that will be valid for at least 1 week (unless material specific such as a remnant) or longer. 

    Your proposal and information about the product(s) you chose will also be available online for you to review and approve later.

  • Project Management

    After we receive your order, a dedicated project manager will go to work making sure all the pieces of your project come together. You’ll be kept in the loop the entire time with updates such as:

    • Order Received
    • Order Reviewed
    • Material Ordered (or assigned)
    • Material Shipped
    • Material Received
    • Installer Assignment
    • Installer’s Estimated Arrival Time and Contact Information
    • Tips and reminders for you to ensure the best possible installation

  • Installation Day

    Our crew will arrive ready to get to work. First, we’ll bring you out to the vehicle to show you your flooring. Once approved, we’ll go into your home to review the installation areas. If we are moving furniture, we’ll plan how and where to carefully move your pieces. If we are removing existing flooring, we’ll be careful to do it in a way to minimize the dust and debris in your home. Then we’ll clean up any debris so we can inspect the subfloor of the installation area. If any sub floor repairs are needed, we’ll address them with you. Then installation can begin. Once complete, the crew will clean up, replace your furniture and inspect the installation areas before bringing you to the areas to approve the work. All work-related materials will be removed from your home, so all that is left for you to do is enjoy your new floor.

After the installation

Our relationship doesn’t end when our installers pull away from your home. Your Floortal remains available to you to keep track of your purchase, product, warranty and care instructions. If you ever need anything, we’re just a call or click away.

We really want to know how we’re doing, so you’ll also receive a post-installation survey. We want and appreciate your feedback, both directly to us, and on our social media pages so we’ll make it easy for you to provide feedback.

Repeat and referral customers are the lifeblood our business. We acknowledge that from the very start and constantly ask ourselves, if what we’re doing is going to generate goodwill and the likelihood of earning your repeat business and passing along our name to your friends, family and colleagues.
